It’s the Easter holidays, which means no school, so what could be better than a day with Freddie, friends and family. The only thing better than that would be a beautiful warm, sunny, spring day!
This is exactly what Zoe got when she visited Freddie Forelock this week together with Mum and big sister Kirsti!
Big sister Kirsti got to warm Freddie up in the school, stepping up the action by taking Freddie over some trotting poles. It’s early Spring and Freddie had a skip in his step, his normal, cheeky, excitable behaviour came bursting through, but Kirsti took charge and soon he was calm enough for Zoe to ride. Freddie knows when he has to be sensible and he and Zoe have a great relationship and it wasn’t long before Zoe, inspired by her big sister, was stepping over the same trotting poles laid out before them in the sand school.
Did you know that Kirsti or ‘Kirsty’ is the main character in ‘Finders Keepers‘ by Maggie Raynor?
Dis you also know that Freddie is a Shetland Pony and there’s an amazing encyclopedia, packed with 400 pages of full colour images and amazing facts all about the Shetland Pony, available to UK residents, from Forelock Books.
