Sparkly wellies, homework and a lost voice

Sparkly wellies, homework and a lost voice.

Last Christmas my godfather gave me the most beautiful pair of golden wellies, they were my absolute favourite present and I have worn them every single day, they were super sparkly, super cool, but last week sadly became super leaky as I had worn them out. Mummy said that had come to the end of their natural life and she would have to get me a new pair of wellies. Imagine my surprise when I came home from school to find a replacement pair of wellies in sparkly pink, I’m back to my super sparkly self and mucking out with a sparkle in my stride.

Now I’ve started at senior school I’m getting a lot more homework and I’m having to make sure I get it done during the week to leave my weekends free to compete and hunt. Sometimes it’s quite interesting and I’ve found the perfect place to get my homework done…. the kitchen worktop, I’m not sure it would be perfect for everyone as you have to be quite flexible but It meant I could use the cupboard doors as whiteboards and chat to mummy while she was making dinner.

We didn’t go hunting this weekend partly because Saskia was asked to be a guinea pig at Munstead Cross country course to help train pony club instructors but mostly because my mum lost her voice, not completely but all she could do was squeak like a frog. We had no idea what she was saying, everytime she phoned someone they were asking if she was crying or laughing and we had to speak for her. Unfortunately, by Monday her voice had returned.

Even though we didn’t go hunting I had a fantastic weekend, on Friday I had a sleepover with my friend chloe, then on Saturday afternoon me and Saskia hacked out with friends then we all went round to our friends for pizza and we watched Beauty and the Beast which was awesome.

My favourite part of the week has definitely been when I jumped a METRE on Rowan for the first time ever, I was really proud and couldn’t stop smiling. Rowan is the best and so is Revel.

I’m really looking forward to next week NO SCHOOL!!!!!
